To get there, he gave us instructions to go outside and find what he described as a dark basement where we had better be prepared to bring our own light, apparently while holding our laundry.He also brought in loud guests to live on the same property, without having disclosed that until it already happened, despite VRBO's written policy against that.And by far the worst part – not only not disclosed, but falsely described – is the fact that the place, even without the surprise outside guests, is extremely loud. Our family was awake all night. The owner describes the house as "nestled in a quiet area," and asks visitors to abide by "quiet hours" beginning at 10 pm. The reality is that this house is at the intersection of two very busy roads that the locals use for drag racing throughout the day, and especially in the hours after 10 pm. It is almost non-stop roaring right outside the house's paper-thin windows, that even the best white-noise machine cannot overcome.
