"A dark, dingy, filthy hotel room. Stained towels, stained sheets and blankets. Room smelled, bed that’s worse than a pull out couch bed, it was a horrible experience."

"We came to Missouri for my daughter’s graduation from basic training and AIT. It was so convenient. We were so close to the post. There was plenty of options to eat. We got to do some sightseeing. The house had plenty of room for everyone to gather around and just sit around on the back patio and talk. If you were going to Fort Leonardwood for a graduation or family day, I would highly recommend you stay there."

"Staying at this property was a dream from beginning to end! The property is beautiful and easily fit our big family without us feeling like we were on top of each other. It’s only a 15 minute drive to base, which made it so easy to go back and forth. We were able to bring our son back to the house and BBQ and spend really good quality time together. My kids were fascinated with feeding the fish in the pond and had so much fun with it. Communication with Vanessa was so easy, and she’s the best host we’ve had out of all the properties we’ve stayed at. We had to change things a few times due to my son’s schedule with the military and she completely understood and worked with us. She’s amazing. I can’t rave about this place enough and if we ever end up back in Missouri, this is where we’ll be staying!"

"Great location for those visiting Fort Leonard Wood or that general area. It’s only 78 miles from the Springfield-Branson airport. The cabin is in a beautiful, serene area with a lovely view of a pond. It’s very well maintained and clean. Sherry communicates well and makes sure that you have everything that you need! It was a wonderful experience overall. "
