"The lady that owns this place has been excellent to work with as hotel.com had my reservations and stuff all messed up she's bent over backwards to help me , upgraded my room with no extra charge.rooms were nice and clean it's quiet there enjoyed or stay very very much. "Jan was a great host. She checked us in when we arrived. The property is beautiful and there are also lodges to stay it. The inside is beautiful and fresh cleaned to the room, where we were, they have great shampoo, conditioner and body wash if you forget yours. If you want breakfast during your stay make sure to put that detail in when booking. And sign the guest book too! Thanks YRL"

Hotel Expedition

"Hotel Expedition is the classic old hotel/motel renovated into an "arty" cool property. I really like that look and so it works for me. The no human staff aspect worried me but it all worked out pretty smoothly. I did receive the text with the room # and the code for access. Check was not quite as smooth as there were no clear directions for how to check out. I managed to talk to housekeeping staff and although friendly, they could not help me with check out directions. We ended up asking one of the women to text the owners and let them know that we had left. The property is across the street from a nice sized river which was very relaxing. The town of Red Lodge is also very charming and I really enjoyed our time there. Hotel Expedition is easy walking distance to the heart of the town. I would stay at this property again but some of the amenities were lacking. Examples: sauna not functional and directions via QR code not helpful, jacuzzi apparently working but didn't look that clean, wall clock not working, etc,...little stuff like that but really didn't bother me that much. This place seems like a perfect fit for younger travelers. If not expecting a higher end property, this place could be perfect for you."
