"My wife and I stayed one night at the Riverton, WY Holiday Inn, September 9th, 2026 - checking out September 10th. on our way to Grand Teton National Park, from Minnesota. Front Desk Staff were polite, helpful, smiling, and arranged to have our luggage for a 13-day road trip brought to our room, convenient to the lobby.
We usually stay in "higher end" accommodations in our travels, but this location worked out well due to our itinerary. We went to the restaurant at the facility, and walked into a lovely restaurant, with a quiet vibe, extensive menu, superb service, and all tables with starched white tablecloths. My wife started with the lobster bisque. We travel to Maine each year, "famous for lobster dishes," and this bisque was far superior to any lobster items we ever had in Maine. She followed with a Ceasar Salad, and as she put it, "the best she ever had." I ordered the Salmon with a tarragon cream sauce which was as well, the best I ever had!
The following morning at check-out. I mentioned to the staff, that I would love to compliment the entire kitchen staff. The Head Chef came out, first complimenting his kitchen team (great leadership), and appreciative that we enjoyed our dinner. together. We have both travelled extensively, domestically and overseas in our airline careers. Little did we think that at a Holiday in in Riverton, Wyoming, we would have such an incredible dining experience.

"The room was nice and clean and comfortable but could not lock the door we had to latch it. The gentleman at the front desk was very understanding and assured us that a maintanence man would be able to repair it in the morning but by that time we would be leaving. No rooms were available at the time for us to move too that was the only disappointment."
"The frig was dirty. We had to clean before putting anything in it. But overall, we would stay here again if the chance comes again. Kitchen is small but the rest was roomy. Great communication."

"Communications with host were great. Cabin was clean with a few minor details. Take note pics we saw in listing made us think this was a cabin on side of hill or something to that effect. It is on pretty flat ground and getting to it you will have to drive a freshly graded, very bumpy road along an irrigation canal for a few miles. There are ranches with horses, cows and sheep sounds all around. We arrived at night and it was dark so we could not see this. My boys went outside in the dark heard all these noises and about had a heart attack. Lol. The cabin itself is pretty great and comfy."
