"The staff were all pleasant, especially the duty manager, Kieran. There were a few poor service issues which were quickly addressed and more than made up for. Kieran personally came to my room to apologise and suggest a resolution. All the staff we spoke to were lovely, the doorman Martino was great. Breakfast was nice, with both halal sausages & cold meats and pork sausages & bacon offered, catering to most patrons. Views over kensington gardens were awesome. The rooms were in great condition and clean. The location is great, and we ventured out via tube, driving, and walking on various days. I'd happily stay here again, and will do so in the future."

"Convenient location, friendly staff. The property would *really* benefit from having a larger lobby or some other lounge/common area. The tiny rooms are well-organized to maximize space/organization. The carpets in the rooms could use an update. The plumbing was very much less than ideal: I was instructed by staff to turn shower and bathroom tap on full blast for five minutes to get any hot water in the showers, which did work, but again not ideal. The toilet in my room was also prone to running. I felt like I used a months worth of water in the time I stayed there (between running the taps for hot water and the running toilet)."

"Hospitality was very good but we were disappointed to find that a service charge was added to all purchases at the bar that we were not told about. We only realised this when reviewing the receipt. Service charges should be at the customers discretion. There was also a £50 deposit that was asked for on arrival but not clearly explained!! This was taken on my bank card (which worried me for the duration of my stay, as I had paid up front and never use room service or charge to my room) and when I asked for the payment to be reversed, as I checked out, and a receipt for the negative payment I was told this was not possible. I was very disappointed that we are not trusted. Now if I had been asked for a credit to authorise any charges, If added, this would have been fine but to take a £50 deposit, with no explanation, is not on. Very disappointed. Spoilt my stay. 😟"
