Cloudview Suite is the companion of Above the Clouds Mountaintop Chalet and the Hawk Nest. For 23 years it has been one of our most popular vacation rentals, it has the same breathtaking view of the valley as the chalet. This is a perfect getaway for two.

It is the entire first level of our main lodge. Separate private entrance with no shared areas.
Very spacious and private. It is perfect for those who want a quiet peaceful getaway for a day or a week at an affordable price.

The large bedroom has two queen beds. We encourage no more than 4 people as the two queen beds are in one bedroom. For accommodations for children, contact owners. Bunk beds are in the "KID'S CAVE".

The covered patio has an area for outside dining. Large rockers offer a comfortable spot to watch the sunrise and the breathtaking views of the valley.
The hot tub is located on the covered patio which has a magnificent view of the 7000 acres of valley offering a relaxing spot rain or shine.
A gas grill is provided.
A fire pit is located in the yard and wood is provided

Cloudland Canyon is 5 minutes away for hiking and has great views.

You will receive the same great Southern Hospitality as our guests in 'Above the Clouds'.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you have to cancel, we understand. Full refund if canceled 30 days prior. No deposit refund if canceled after 14 days' notice.
A $100 charge will be charged for no-shows.

Fantastic View
We had a wonderful stay at Bro Dave's Mountain home! The view was amazing and the proximity to lots of other attractions made the location perfect! We did a nice road bike ride around the block-8 miles and only saw 8 cars. Then we drove for 5 minutes into the state park and rode a nice easy trail, which was perfect. Chattanooga is just 20 ish minutes away, so you can eat at some really good restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the ac worked really well. Thanks Bro Dave!

Incredible stay!!
The owners are so kind and generous. We were greeted not long after arriving and Mr. Dave was so nice to us, offering assistance if we needed it and ensuring everything was as it should be. They respected our privacy so it felt like we were totally on our own despite this suite being underneath their home. The view is absolutely incredible and the suite was perfectly clean with every amenity as advertised and fully functioning. We would love to stay here again!

This property would have received 5 stars if it wasn’t advertised as being private, when in reality it’s the lower unit of the owners home. The entire stay we could hear them living upstairs. Walking around early in the morning waking us each morning of our vacation. The hot tub was advertised as private,it was anything but. The owners walking into the area, and the neighboring cabin directly in view.

Enjoyed our stay in this quaint apartment suite in the beautiful mountains of Georgia. You are away from all of the hussle of the city and close by many great hiking trails. The view from the porch is incredible and worth the stay! The hot tub was a great feature and the beds were comfy and clean! Everything is pretty basic/modern, no frills, but perfectly lovely for everything we needed for the weekend. Dave was a lovely host and we look forward to staying again soon! Highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway
This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I to stay at for a short weekend vacation! I have been wanting to check out Cloudland Canyon for quite some time now and this place was super close! The owner, Dave, met us outside to help show us around even though it was late! The view from the back porch was stunning and the hot tub was the perfect temp! I was offered a free night, however had to come to work Monday so we could not use it but it was nice to have it available! I have not one thing I would’ve changed on this vacation! Please book this place, you will not regret it!

Staycation
We visited Rising Fawn from Columbus, GA. The location was very nice, decor wasn’t so modern but I guess it doesn’t matter much if pretty much all you’re doing is sleeping/eating there. It was a little strange having the owners right upstairs, but they we had very minimal contact with them and when we did, Dave was pleasant. Overall, the place is nice and the view is absolutely stunning.

Above 5 stars in every category. Such a clean comfy place with a beautiful porch overlooking the canyon. Owners could not have been more accommodating. Cloudland Canyon State Park along with nearby Chattanooga offered so much to do. Just chillin at the cabin was perfect!

Where to begin? The view was God glorifying. The accommodations were immaculate. The provisions in the kitchen, and in the bathrooms, were well thought out and more than adequate. Our hostesses were gracious. Lord, willing we hope to return. Will recommend it to family and friends.

Amazing Stay
We had an absolute amazing time. The home was very clean and beautiful. The view was amazing and the hot tub was the cherry on top. The amenities and hospitality were top notch. I am so happy I chose to book our stay here. So close to Chattanooga. We hit Ruby falls, Rock city and cloudland canyon for some trails. All were wonderful and super close.
