「The pub itself is very old and in need of complete redecoration. The stairs, carpets, walls, paintwork leading up to the room was in a very poor state. 「Absolutely lovely oasis of tranquility in the New Forest. We took our small dog and everything was catered for from bowls and towels in the room to a washing station and poo bags.
Staff were amazing, busy but always helpful and chatty. Food was top notch, as were the cocktails and a lovely breakfast.
Can’t fault it, oh and there was air con in the room……. Thank god!」

「Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful
We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!!

「Room very clean & tidy looks like a recent refurbish which was very well done , the only thing was the mattresses could do with renewing , which is the only negative thing to say about our stay was able to help ourselves to tea ,coffee etc when needed .
