「Rocky start, wonderful end.」

「Spent 5 days in town for a funeral. The room was pretty clean, but a couple things like the stained toilet bowl showed that it hadn't been deep cleaned recently. There were a dozen unpainted splotches of joint compound on the walls. The corner lamp had no light bulb. Plus - the A/C worked well and kept us comfortable during the heat wave while we were there. 「Loved the house, it was comfy and charming just like the pictures. Staying in the early winter it was peaceful and quiet, the swans and geese honking on the lake the only occasional sound. The local food recommendations were fantastic. Would love to come back someday.」
