Great breakfast, great location and lovely staying in an historic property - wonderful potential for a party or fdmily gsthering. Comfy bed and spacious room. Coujd do with a makeover in parts but don’t sacrifice its current charm..

Surprised vaping was allowed at the Bar in total disregard of the law.
Breakfast was minimal, sausage (one) was undercooked and bacon (one rasher) more fat than meat. Half a mushroom, a tablespoon of beans and a greasy hash-brown completed the meal. The Buffet for the Wake was also very poor standard considering the cost of the accommodation. Overall very disappointed.

"Everything was great apart from breakfast. I’ve never seen a more badly run operation. Not sure if you were understaffed or if it was poor management Either way there were no clean tables and no mugs or glasses. The restaurant literally looked like a bomb site. Zero stars for that."

"We stayed for a night after moving our daughter into Uni. The hotel was lovely. The staff were very helpful, friendly & professional. It was a great location too. We will definitely rebook."

"We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. It was close to the city centre. The water pressure was extreme, and the room comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the staff there were super friendly. Thank you!"
