A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view.
The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs.
The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters.
Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road.
In all a very enjoyable stay

Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant.

The accommodation was not to the standard you expect these days, especially when you compare with others we stayed at for less money.
2 Bathrooms, shared with others guests were both dirty and one had no toilet roll.
Difficult getting into the place on arrival.
