"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. Breakfast was continental (although you could pay to have a cooked breakfast) but the continental on...

"Lovely B &B , very comfortable bed ,clean hotel , everything you need , Duncan the owner was very helpful with providing everything we needed for our 20 month old grandson. Breakfast was best we have had . Would highly recommend and looking forward to staying again when we visit Wales"

"A little bit tired: for example a very worn, saggy mattress on the bed and a shower that was adequate but no more. The staff were friendly but the hotel itself needs a refurb."
