「Our family of 7 stayed for a week and it was very comfortable for all. Comfortable beds, functional kitchen, large dining space and plenty of room for lounging — though we were very busy and didn’t spend much time lounging. Close enough to walk to everything downtown. The decor of the house was fun and interesting — we all loved it. 」

The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, walkable and only 10 short minutes to downtown by car or 7-minutes to Sky Lagoon or the beach. I would recommend and stay here again. The rental is up one flight of stairs to the main level. The ground level is a separate apartment and the rental listing is for the upper two floors and requires 14-stairs to access. 」

「Our 2 families--2 couples and 5 kids ages 7-11 stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful house. Herdis met us upon arrival and walked us through the house explaining everything. I imagine it's hard to find another house with as much space and as well-stocked, this home is live-in ready from hundreds of towels, double washers and dryers, to every amenity. The hardest part about staying here is that it is so nice you don't want to leave...but when you do leave it's 20 minutes from Reykjavik city,...
