"The best thing about this room was the sea views (that's why we paid for ), in general was ok for being a cheap hotel in front of the beach. However, it was not clean enough especially the shower and the towels . Also ,the room had plenty of humidity stains and it looked careless and dusty even on the window. I understand that it is a cheap hotel but an adequate hygiene is essential in every room whether is cheap ,standard or luxurious because the health of guests may be on risk . The receptionist who worked this morning was helpful and welcoming in contrast the one who was in there yesterday afternoon was talking by the phone while I was doing the check in so I had no idea who he was talking to ."

"The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist, she was lovely and helpful, very friendly. The hotel need a bit of TLC, our room was very basic and stained carpets and the radiator hasn’t been dusted in a very long time!! Brilliant to have parking and right opposite the band stand which was great to listen and watch from our room! "

"It is very nice budget accommodation. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. The parking could be a challenge. It cost £10 a day. Shower was lovely hot. All restaurants are close by. Including band stand. We have a lovely stay. We will come back again"

"Family rooms are in the basement - this is not made very clear on Expedia and the photos have certainly been enhanced to hide the lack of light... Service is okay - staff aren't really informed. The staff on the morning of checkout was short, verging on rude. Staff didn't even ask how our stay was; just said bye. Cleanliness is okay - pieces of pretzels on the floor near the window and dust in corners and under the bed. No shelves in the bathroom make it almost impossible to comfortably use as a family. Finally the family room layout was much more basic that the glossy pictures, no sofa or lovely seating area, a bed, a bunk and a small table. The differences in the rooms options should be made clearer online when booking. Wouldn't visit again; not worth the price at all. "

"The room was ideal ***** for myself as a solo traveller. This top floor room was nicely decorated. clean, secure, facilities perfect and no noise from the stairs/common area, nor outside. Could not fault the room at all. Decor throughout the hotel generally was very pleasant. The lift was out of order however it didn't spoil my stay as although one of the agile older generation, was up and down the stairs in no time at all. "

"The room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in a little early. The street parking can be a little tricky, but we did find a spot each day. Breakfast was excellent. A nice pub, the Marine quite close. A word of warning! The portions in the pub are huge! We would definitely stay at the Beach Front again."
