Hotel Republika was a terrific option for my family. It is rare in a city to have a boutique hotel experience, complete with parking, that remains a short walk to the main attractions of the area. The space was large and well designed, and even had two bathrooms for a two-bedroom unit. Perfect combination of quiet/peaceful space to use as a home base, but close enough to walk to the heart of the city.

The location is great and the room was comfortable, bed was very comfortable after a long trip. Parking in the area is extremely difficult, Our water heater was not running when we checked in and had to wait for a warm shower, other than that everything was fine. We were fortunate to be on the first level, because there is no elevator.

A few small areas need improvement: air con wouldn’t cool, heated towel racks don’t work, grounds overgrown - need gardener to mow lawn areas, no lighting after dark when leaving restaurant.
