A casa di paola has a great location, a warm, welcoming and friendly staff. It was a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers and share tour plans and recommendations. The B and B is located near many great places to eat and is in easy walking distance of Ravenna’s outstanding historical sites.
Very quirky property, brilliantly decorated with good shower and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Unfortunately neither of or bedrooms had working heaters so it was rather chilly.
Great property, excellent location, and the staff are all very friendly. There is a small bar downstairs too which is a great spot if you want to try some local beers/wines without leaving the property.
This is the most amazing place I ever seen Federico Lombardi is an incredible person. Very very kind. It’s the most beautiful place to stay. It’s so peaceful. They have the best breakfast. It is very beautiful. Very beautiful place. I recommend this place because I felt that extremely happy in there I came to celebrate my birthday and I had an amazing time..
Great spot with a lot of ambiance. Close to restaurants, historic sites and train station. Staff, apertivos, and breakfasts were divine. Would definitely stay here the next time I’m in Ravenna.
What a cool and unique choice! This was a perfect location and place to stay while visiting Ravenna!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
My sister, friend and myself arrived in Ravenna off a cruise ship. Our room was already ready - so comfy and clean. Our host and hostess were helpful assisting with our bags and a map of the city, places to visit and a wonderful restaurant was recommended where we had an amazing dinner. We enjoyed all the fresh pastries and cappuccinos for breakfast before heading out to our next destination. Charming B $ B and in a great location.
Hosts were fantastic with recommendations for dinner, provided a superior breakfast and were able to assist in transportation when our arranged transport fell through. I cannot envision staying anywhere else in the area would yield as good an experience as staying here.
We really liked the character of the room, with large wooden beams! It was nicely outfitted and it had good closet space. Washroom was good and rainfall showerhead was excellent!
Breakfast was in the private courtyard with tables, umbrellas and palm trees!
The variety of food was amazing, and the service was excellent!!
I would highly recommend this place!!
10/10 recommend. My husband and I LOVED this B&B. If able 100% stay here. The staff are all so kind and so helpful. And the B&B is close to the train station and city center.
Beautiful B&B with lots of charm. Clean, quiet, and comfortable room with private bath. Location is just a short walk to Piazza del Popolo and Ravenna historic sites. Breakfast in the courtyard with a large selection of baked goods as well as meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and more.
My stay in casa di Paola was very comfortable, the room was very nice, clean and spacious. I was attending a conference and had some problem getting the conference but Fede the host went the extra mile to help me.
Thank you very much for such a nice stay.
The place was amazing, we were surrounded by paintings and antiques, with fine art library as well. It felt like we were living in someone else’s villa. It was only a bed and breakfast stay, but Ravenna is full of cafes and restaurants so no problem eating. And the breakfast was superb with a table piled high with home made cakes. Possibly the best place I have ever stayed in Italy.
This is an unique place, an old house with many stairs, so be warned. Walls full of paintings and drawings, many different kind of furniture and all together with a most charming athmosphere. As charming as the people working there.
This is, by far, the best ever B&B we have ever stayed in. The host, Federico, is completely available, interested and willing to make your experience in Ravenna be the very, very best. His house and apartments are beautifully furnished, with many areas to hang out in, enjoy a glass of complementary wine, and relax in the serenity of the courtyard of this beautiful palazzo. Highly recommended and we will absolutely stay here again!
Our stay was nice and the staff helpful. Breakfast was good and we appreciated having drinks in the garden in the evening. Two drawbacks were the lack of electrical and usb outlets. Our room was nice. But we had to climb 4 sets of stairs. Not a problem for us, but could be for others. Good area for a stay.
Well run family owned B&B. Short walk from the train station.
We were greeted in an inviting manner and our bags were carried up to our well appointed room on the 3rd floor (very nice). Beautiful home adorned with interesting original art and curiosity pieces, depicting a well travelled family. The garden is a nice breakfast area and transforms to one of the friendliest bars in the evenings - not to be missed. Location is a short walk to the old city centre, most attractions, and great shops and restaurants. Staff are very helpful and ready with meaningful recommendations. Housekeeping staff are efficient, friendly and predictable from a timing perspective. Great water pressure. This is a B&B that we would book again and again. Not to be missed if you travel to Ravenna.
Excellent choice for visiting this beautiful town.
So pleased we chose Casa di Paola - it made our stay in Ravenna quite perfect. Very convenient for all the town centre sights and restaurants. We had an attic room with loads of space and very effective air conditioning. Phew!! The whole place is beautifully furnished and has fascinating art work. We had use of a large sitting room and a balcony, and were welcome to complementary chilled white wine and chilled water. Breakfast (fruit, great cakes, cold meats etc) was served in the delightful, shady court yard. Best of all, Federico was an amazing host. He met us after a very long, hot drive, took our bags up to our room & turned on our aircon while we followed his clear directions to park the car. He made excellent restaurant recommendations - we chose No 45, fish restaurant, superb. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I hope to return!
Quirky hotel with lots of artwork and antiques all over. Extremely clean and quiet which was nice. Convenient to train station and old town center.
Disappointing breakfast with limited options, same stale pastries put out day after day. If they improved the breakfast then the experience would be more positive.
