Self-service hotel about 6 blocks away from the railroad terminus. Everything is controlled by the code, including the elevator, which may not be a great idea from the security perspective, as the same code also opens your room. The room amenities were good, with a tiny fridge and a microwave, and a little table you can put your laptop on.

Location is perfect. The room was clean and beds comfortable. However our room wasn’t ready when it was check in time. The cleaner was still there and couldn’t communicate with either English or Finnish. Finally using google translate found out it would take another hour to get the room ready for us. However even with that I would definitely stay there again.

This was a great value hotel. The location, just a couple of blocks from both the Esplanade and the Market is excellent. If you're looking for a full service hotel with a formal check-in, concierge, etc., this is not your hotel. If you're comfortable with communications and check-in via What's App, you'll be rewarded with a great price, clean hotel, and a free laundry (that we used). Our takeaway - after our first Bob W experience, we will look for locations in other cities.

"Interesting hotel as it was in an old mill town. we had a second level room- with a bridge access. Room got hot at night and could not figure out how to open the windows but it did have a nice fan. Nice breakfast- had a restaurant and bar in adjacent building, but since we were only one night did ..."
