"The upper room’s picture was a little misleading. It was a much smaller area as far as headroom than what the picture showed. It did advertise that the area was mainly for children, but it would have been difficult for even most children not to hit their head on the ceiling. Otherwise, it was comfortable for a cabin and it worked for our purposes. The restaurant was fantastic and we ate there every day. It was in a great location to everything park related. "

"We arrived later than anticipated, but the staff still made us feel very welcomed and gave great recommendations for our stay and visit to the Keystone area. Cheyenne (on her first night going solo!)went over and beyond helping us get a not-so-simple firepit started, which we greatly appreciated. We loved the experience - especially of seeing Mount Rushmore lit up at night. The stars were beyond gorgeous, and my son loved the s'mores that were offered. Thank you for a wonderful time!"

I thought we were heading to a single story easy access vacation home in the hills, and what we rented was a house with a walk up basement with a very steep and narrow staircase, the outside stairs to the front door, had no railing making it super difficult for my elderly family member to maneuver.
