"Great property and we will stay there again when given the opportunity. The only downfalls were that the hot tub was out of order but was not aware (bummed but not a deal breaker for our return in hopes it is working on our next visit). Also, we were told that they had taken things away temporarily from the breakfast items but hoping for it to come back soon was items like eggs, or bacon, etc. Grateful that there was some warm items like waffles and oatmeal. One of our favorite things in our travels is the "included breakfast" to be able to simply walk to the dining area, eat together and visit with family and other travelers. Friendly staff, clean and pool temperature was great! Thank you. "

"We stayed a few nights here and really enjoyed it. It’s an upgraded old motel with some cabins and a larger lodge up the hill. Across from the abandoned false ghost town, so that was fun. Most of the cabins have a gas grill and there is one at the lodge for the other units. Fire rings and picnic tables provided some nice outdoor spaces to compliment the smaller indoor spaces. Cindy was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is light (cereal, toast, fruit, coffee) but just right. Good home base for Custer and Hill city, but don’t sleep on Spearfish Canyon, which was just beautiful."

"The staff was very accommodating. What I always look for is a long counter with the sink, hair dryer, large lighted mirror in the bathroom. Iron and Ironing board. Full length mirror in the room along with lots of electrical and USB plug ins. TV with CC. Good selection at breakfast. The bed not being too high. This hotel checked off each of those. When more than one person is staying in the room it would be nice to have a Folding Suitcase rack but I know they probably get stolen. There was hair in the bathtub and the sink faucet didn’t have much water pressure. The Closed Captioning did not work correctly on the TV. (Were not in the room all that much so just turned the volume up hoping not to disturb other rooms.)"

"Large gathering area. We had parents receptions there in the evening. Other non- associated groups there too and it worked for everybody. Breakfasts were varied and all offerings were great. Patio of the Rapid city location was gorgeous. Rooms were large and clean. My only change would be to add a set of clothing drawers (we were there for 5 nights)."

"We had a problem with our online reservation but the Hotel staff got it fixed quickly and smoothly as we checked in. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and we all enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. The location was excellent since it was near lots of restaurants, shopping, and fast easy access to I-90. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. We also enjoyed to complimentary cookies at the front desk. I'd easily stay here again when passing through Rapid City."
