Fantastic apartment, bigger than expected. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything you need and more. Great location for shopping, restaurant and 5 minute walk to the sea. We were worried about being close to the train line but they stop at night and the shutters block out most of the noise so it wasnt a problem for us. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Affordable family accommodation in a good location

Yes, this property is on a train line, but apart from that it's perfect in every way. The noise can be a bit loud, but it only lasts a few seconds, and it's really not a problem late at night. The owner is an interior designer, and it really comes through in every detail of the apartment. She was waiting for us when we arrived, and was very communicative via WhatsApp throughout our stay. The apartment is conveniently located. You're in the Rapallo old town in a matter of minutes with its array of excellent restaurants, cafes, and shops. And the train, ferry, and bus lines are easy to navigate to many interesting nearby places: Genoa, the Cinque Terre, Santa Margharita, Portofino, etc. Highly recommended!

Amazing, comfortable home - Cinque Terre a simple train ride away!

We are in a car so finding a place we could park nearby, without cost was important, Miriam was there to meet us when we arrived and helped us unpack and park the car away for the next three days. Rapallo is a bustling, fun city and we walked everywhere. Great restaurants. Easy access to the train which was important for us, since we wanted to go Cinque Terre. This home is a perfect layout and location. Yes, the train is right outside your windows but once the dual glaze windows are closed, they are a faint and comforting background noise. When you look around inside, every thing you could want is here. Coffee pots, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine (I even hung some clothes outside to dry on the clothes line). Sleeping at one end of the house, living room and comfortable "kitchen table" at the other end. The elevator although small was great for taking our suitcases (x3 people) up to the 4th floor. Thanks you again for the great stay. If I could give a 6 star review, this would be it!

Mooi ingericht apartement

In het centrum van Rapallo ligt het leuke apartement van Miriam en Rita. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen. Het apartement is keurig afgewerkt met veel leuke details. Alles is vrijwel nieuw. De vaatwasser, de koelkast, wasmachine etc. Ook zijn alle benodigdheden er,,voldoende bestek, servies en glazen. Vanuit het apartement ben je in 3 minuten in het leukste winkelstraatje van Rapallo en in 5 minuten aan de boulevard. Wij kunnen dit apartement van harte aanbevelen. Henk D

Charming apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. Don't be alarmed by the facade of the apartment building. The apartment itself is beautifully done and the pictures in the homeaway website didn't do justice to the place! Miriam, you probably want to update the pictures to show how lovely your place is :) We are family of 4 (parents and 2 teenager children) and the apartment is big enough for all of us not to step on each other during our stay. The location of the apartment is great. 5 minutes walk to the charming Rapallo town center and 5 minutes walk to the train station. The alleys leading toward water front are so charming with white umbrellas hanging above you on some alleys while other alleys had big colorful pinwheels hanging above you. Few minutes walk from the apartment is the best fresh pasta store (Pasta La Casana) that we had had in our 3 weeks stay in Italy. We would stop by in the morning to pick up few servings of fresh made pasta and sauce (their tomato sauce is out of this world) and after a day of outing, it only takes 5 minutes to put a delicious dinner on the table. And it is more delicious than most of the restaurants we had eaten. Miriam , the host, went above and beyond in providing the comfort for our stay. Upon arrival, she has a big bag of cookies, coffee, water, ice tea waiting for us. The time we live there, it truly feel like living as local, including hanging our laundry out on balcony. The apartment is next to the train track but it only took few hours for us to get used to the train noise and it doesn't bother us much afterward. The parking can be challenging if you bring a car with you. So be sure to let the host know ahead of the time so they can help with parking spot as they did for us which is greatly appreciated. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Great holiday in an excellent apartment

A large apartment, with living room (with TV and DVD), kitchen diner (well-equipped for catering), two bathrooms, two bedrooms (double and twin), a long corridor and lots of storage space. It's on the third floor, with a lift. It's a short walk from the station, and overlooks the train tracks, which our 5-year old loved, running to watch every train run past. The trains are not too frequent and don't run at night, so the noise wasn't a problem for us. There are lots of shops and bakeries nearby. The owner Miriam met us at the station, and was very helpful. It was a particularly nice touch that there were lots of useful things in the cupboards and fridge, including water, salt, sugar, herbs, coffee, tea, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, etc. We didn't use the free parking space, since the train and boats are the best way to get around the area.

A Spacious & Homely Apartment

It was one of the best I have ever stayed in. There was so much room with two good sized bedrooms a dining area, kitchen, lounge and two shower rooms. All were immaculately maintanied and so well equipt. Fortunately there was a lift to the third floor and good security throughout the building. It is true the view of the railway was not to everyone's taste but the soundproofing of the windows cut out most of the train noise - it was not a problem for us. The apartment was situated within 10 minutes walk of the town centre, the railway & bus station and the Rapallo beaches. There were local supermarkets at hand as well as butchers and bakers. Our hosts were very welcoming, even met us on the station platform to help with carrying our luggage. They gave us a detailed tour of the apartment and covered the use of all the facilities in excellent fashion. I would heartily recommend this apartment for all potential renters

TOUT ETAIT PARFAIT

Nous avons séjourné à Rapallo du 21 au 30 juillet 2018 en famille avec nos 2 enfants. L'appartement était conforme au descriptif. Aucune mauvaise surprise que des satisfactions. Un accueil chaleureux - Miriam était accompagnée d'une amie qui parlait bien français ce qui a favorisé la prise de contact et la transmission d'infos. Tout le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner était à notre disposition + des boissons au frais. L'appartement est neuf, très bien décoré ''cosy'' et très bien équipé et surtout une propreté irréprochable ! La climatisation dans les chambres est très appréciable et d'utilisation très simple. Logement en centre ville proche de tous les commerces et des plages (privées et publiques). Pour garer la voiture, pas de souci, une place privée à 10 /15 mn à pieds ! idéal surtout quand tout peut se faire à pieds, ou en train et notamment les 5 terres, ....ou en bateau (Portofino...) - Nous avons utilisé notre voiture 2 fois durant le séjour. A noter aussi le classeur avec toutes les informations pratiques , les recommandations..avec même les notices d'utilisations des appareils électroménagers et ....très utile! Une seule recommandation pour ceux qui craignent le bruit des trains: prévoir éventuellement des ''boules quies'' afin de dormir tranquilles. C'est ce que nous avions fait et nuits paisibles assurées ! Pour résumer : un très bon séjour ! Merci Miriam pour votre accueil, votre disponibilité ! Nous reviendrons chez vous avec plaisir pour visiter Gènes que nous n'avons pas pu faire ! :) A bientôt - Claire et Laurent

Appartement très bien aménagé et décoré. Très bien situé pour profiter du centre ville ou plage.

Appartement rénové avec goût et très bien équipé. Très bien situé pour aller se promener dans le centre historique de Rapallo. Et à proximité des plages accessibles à pied ou en transport en commun. Très bon accueil et réactivité de Miriam.

Semplicemente fantastico......

Soggiorno favoloso...trovare delle persone così disponibili, che riescono veramente a farti sentire a casa, che trasmettono gioia sincera e che siano tanto gentili non è proprio scontato.....grazie veramente di cuore soprattutto a Miriam.....la sua ospitalità e attenzione ai dettagli è sopra le righe....grazie mille da parte di tutta la famiglia.....a Presto sicuramente.... Great apartment in a fantastic location in the centre of Rapallo

Miriam & Rita are great hosts and were at the end of a message at any time should you need them. We stayed for 9 nights and the apartment had everything we needed and more for our stay. It is well presented and the artwork and attention to detail was obvious. The sofa bed in the lounge was used and was very comfortable. The train track is right next to the apartment and the trains go past very regularly during the day but only a few at night, this didn’t bother us at all and once the windows and blinds are closed you hardly hear them. The location is fantastic and is a 5-10 min walk to the promenade depending on how quick you walk. Here you can get the local ferry to portofino and San Frutuoso which we did twice. Nearest airport is Genoa, we used a local taxi guy who is called Carlo Risso and his telephone number is 0039 335 8438531, his prices are very reasonable. We will use him again, he was on time both ways.

Pasqua a Rapallo

Soggiorno veramente piacevole. Appena arrivati Miriam, la proprietaria della casa, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente facendoci trovare la casa perfettamente in ordine, attrezzata e organizzata al meglio. Tra l'altro Miriam, che ringrazio nuovamente per la disponibilità dimostrata, ha organizzato una sorta di vademecum per la casa dove erano contenute una miriadi di informazioni utili sia riguardo alla casa che riguardo i luoghi limitrofi. Per quanto riguarda l'appartamento solo note positive. Molto ampio, con ambienti dotati di ogni comfort, arredata con gusto e dotata di tutto ciò che è necessario per viverci comodamente (stoviglie, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, piatti, bicchieri, ogni accessorio da cucina, asciugamani, letti perfettamente in ordine, aspirapolvere, ferro da stiro, phon, ecc ecc). La posizione è molto comoda trovandosi a circa 100 metri dalla zona pedonale e quindi in sostanza a pochi passi dal centro. La ferrovia sul retro non crea alcun disturbo; tra l'altro dopo una certa ora il numero di treni in transito cala vistosamente. Era la prima volta che sperimentavo un'appartamento per una breve vacanza e devo dire che tutti i dubbi che nutrivo prima della partenza sono stati totalmente fugati durante la permanenza. Un'esperienza certamente da ripetere.

Tolle Wohnung,tolle Lage

Grosszügige,liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem typisch italienischen Mietshaus direkt am Bahngleis. Einkaufen,Ausgehen,der Bahnhof;alles ums Eck. Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterin. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Auch interessant für trainspotter ;)

Excellent Rapallo

We are a retired couple and stayed at this apartment for six nights. It was quite fabulous; very clean, plenty of room, lots of equipment. From the train station just a five minute walk. Everywhere in the town easily accessible on foot. Miriam and Rita were very helpful. Quite simply a delightful holiday. The apartment is alongside the railway lines, which is noisy during the day with open windows. At night there are few trains and the windows and shutters keep out the noise. We know Rapallo well and the apartment is really well positioned. It is clean, spacious and easy to use. There was a good space for a family of five to stay comfortably and it is a real bonus having the parking space

Perfect!

Miriam and Alessandro are wonderful hosts. They waited for us at the train station and went with us to the apartment. The apartment is absolutely perfect. Everything works OK, it's very clean, very nicely decorated and every detail has been thought for the comfort of the guests. The location is very good. Near to the beach, downtown and train. Also, around the location you can easily find all you need. Finally, the reimbursement of the guarantee has been done in 24 hours. Thank you Miriam and Alessandro for these wonderful days!

Ideale Wohnung für 4 Personen für einen Aufenthalt in Lugurien!

Wir - vier Frauen im Alter von 50 - 60 Jahren - haben einen Kurzurlaub an der ligurischen Küste verbracht. Die von uns gebuchte Wohnung ist ideal, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Genua mit dem Zug und Portofino und San Margherita mit der Fähre sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Rapallo selbst ist eine sehr schöne Kleinstadt, auch dort gibt es sehr viel zu sehen. Z. B. kann man mit der Seilbahn auf einen Berg fahren, von wo man einen tollen Ausblick genießen kann. Der Bahnhof, die Fähre und die Seilbahn sind von der Wohnung aus in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Unsere beiden Vermieterinnen Miriam und Rita sind sehr liebenswerte Personen und wir konnten uns trotz unserer fehlenden Italienischkenntnisse sehr gut mit ihnen verständigen, hauptsächlich auf Englisch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen, wenn wir noch einmal einen Urlaub in Ligurien verbringen wollen. Anne-Lore
