「Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. 「Un séjour très agréable avec notre chienne. Le chalet est très bien pensé avec une bonne literie, une douche spacieuse et un coin cuisine. Nous avons même réussi, malgré la saison, a profité du barbecue et de la terrasse. Nous avons pu faire de belles promenades dans la campagne et la forêt et avons découvert de jolis villages. Encore merci à Fred pour son accueil et ce partage.」

「Property was clean and tidy. Very nice situation in the countryside near a forest. Had a fantastic break. Great little pool and loverly hot tub made hot days and evenings very relaxing and great fun. Beautiful cottage in loverly gardens with everything on hand for a fantastic getaway. We used as a base and travelled to Tours,, Le Mans. Alençon and other local spots.
