「We booked this hotel some time ago for a stay while attending a wedding nearby. A few days before our arrival, the hotel contacted us to ask what time we expected to check in. When I advised that we would be arriving at approximately 9:30pm, I was informed that there would be a mandatory €60 late check-in charge. I disputed this, as I had not seen any mention of such a charge when booking. The response was surprising, with the suggestion that if we were arriving that late, perhaps we should stay...
