Find Hotel with a Concierge in Quito

My husband and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mama. We were pampered since we stepped in until we left. We definitely will stay again if we visit Quito again in the future.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Everyone who we had contact with were beyond lovely. The atmosphere and style of the hotel was warm and beautiful. Loved it. Highly recommend. The tour guide and driver they use is also exceptional. Xavier was indispensable.

Such a wonderful environment. Walking distance to touristic points. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely use them again in the future

I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.

I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.

Exceptional hotel located centrally in Quito! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The house is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The bedding was top notch, I didn’t want to wake up! But the best part which I will miss throughout the rest of my travels was getting a massage on site each day from Darwin. How nice to have a 90 minute massage after a day of exploring. Don’t skip booking a massage!

The environment at the hotel was extremely welcoming, the service was great and the room was well equipped and clean. I particularly enjoyed the walking tour with Santiago, who was very thorough with his explanations and showed us the best of Quito’s beautiful historical town! Even though I was traveling solo, I never felt alone because of the staff. I would definitely recommend this place to any travellers looking for a more personal and traditional trip in Quito!

Location: perfect for us, walking distance to Old town, lovely view of Virgen de Panecillo from veranda and dining room. Has a very relax atmosphere. Wifi is great! This hotel was wonderful all around. If you are looking for something fancy then this place is not for you, but if you are looking for something that feels like staying in a friend's home then you will love this. This place feels more like a B and B than a hotel. The service is top-notch. They will arrange airport pickup and dropoff for you. It is located in the old town close to all the churches and museums. What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel in Feb 2018. It is located within an easy 3 minute walk to Plaza Grande on Venezuela St. Tell your taxi driver "Venezuela y Olmedo" that will get you to the nearest corner. The hotel is above a gift shop so you have to be let in/out by the staff. There is a buzzer at the door, and they answer quickly. This is an extra security measure and was not an inconvenience. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite... 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Excellent unit. A/C worked perfectly. The dryer actually got hot and dried our clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked with a real coffeemaker (not the horrible single pod that most hotels now use). There was a full size refrig and freezer with ice trays. The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). The heated book was very welcome and while we did not have time to use it, the fitness center was large with a great selection of modern equipment. There's a nice outdoor area where you can sit and talk or read. Also, it has a very nice tv/lounge room.
