"I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot."

"One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host. "The Good - location, location, location, In the heart of central Quito with a nice grocery store two doors up the street and a decent one across the street, and plenty of good restaurants close by, Room was spacious, had a mini-fridge, an outside patio area, and a central courtyard with seats, tables, sofas and such. The Bad - Not for mobility impaired as there is no elevator. The Ugly - no parking and street parking is often unavailable. If uou want a Hilton or Hyatt type hotel, you will not like the hotel. But, if you want kind of a funky, relaxed, cool experience, you will like it."
