"This little cabin was the perfect stay for us! Close enough to town but tucked away where it’s peaceful. We loved hearing the creek and wildlife chatter from our back porch. I would definitely stay here again!* Note: Host will come inside and turn off your ac unit when you’re gone if you forget to do so. *"

"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"Arsenal Manoa was the 1st of 4 places my hubby and I stayed in Costa Rica. It was everything we hoped for and more! We got a Private Chato Suite with private pool in May of 2026. Absolutely amazing! We loved the room, loved the private pool we could customize the water temp overlooking the volcano, the people were fabulous, the breakfast buffet was insane, the hot springs tubs were everything we were hoping for, the resort pool was clean & big & having a swim up bar was EVERYTHING!!
When we go back to Costa Rica, we would definitely go back here! Would want to stay at least 6 nights instead of 4!
Sky Adventures zip line and hanging bridge tour with private tour guide was amazing! The food at Sky is fab!
Wish we did the waterfall tour! We heard so much about it from other travelers. We will do it next time!
We also didn’t take advantage of the spa, which is located on a river. Next time!
When we went in May, the resort was at half capacity, which we LOVED! Many times in the big hot springs pool and resort pool we had it mostly to ourselves.
The staff were all amazing! Great drinks and loved happy hour which was 2 hours,
Can’t say enough about this place! I am a picky person, and was totally satisfied and above satisfied! 💕😎"
"Great location, beautiful hot Springs not very busy during the week. Parking is free and accessible. The hot pools are very close to the habitats all around 100% trip."
"I highly recommend at least a two day stay at this resort if you are headed from San Jose to Fortuna. It was lush jungle, felt luxurious, breakfast was great and the hot spring pools relaxing. We only stayed one night unfortunately so we didn’t do any of the offered activities. But we felt highly taken care of and special. The staff addressed us by our names which gave it such a personal touch. We saw some wild life on our own. A couple sloths and motmots and a few other really pretty birds. My favorite part was lounging in the hammock on our front porch. We stayed in the standard room. It was in a row of about 10-20 other little cabins but it was very private! The beds were firm but high quality and comfy. Nice coffee and drinking water available in the lobby. We had dinner at the restaurant because it’s a bit of a drive to find food in town. It was good but about $100 usd for the two of us. I’d definitely come back and stay longer."
"A good family option, with lots of “add-on” options. Price for kids is not always advertised on booking sites. Good breakfast, but limited food options as the resort isn’t very close to the town of La Fortuna."
"Beautiful, comfortable, clean. The included breakfast was great and had several options. The farm in the back of the property was a huge hit with our family. There was daily cow milking, egg collecting and pony rides. We saw a couple sloths on the property, too!
Hotel is about a 10 minute drive from town and has a few restaurant options within a couple minutes drive. On site restaurant is worth checking out as well.
Pool was great with plenty of lounge chairs always available. Hot springs were very nice but the weather was too warm for us to spend much time in them this time around. Highly recommended!"
