Moises at the pool was our best friend by day 2...expect to walk A LOT to get to anything and the beach is not just a hike away...the jungle environment is amazing. Maria at the SPA provides the BEST MASSAGE ever with aromas and sounds. Highly recommend!!!"

"We could not be happier with this hotel experience, really the highlight of our entire trip to Costa Rica. Located perfectly between the beach and the entrance to the national park, La Vela is basically in the forest itself, with monkeys and iguanas regular visitors to its outdoor "hallways." Staff was kind and accommodating, pizza at the bar was a wonderful easy meal, and the rooms were clean and bright. Highly, highly recommend. "
