"Beautiful place. Away from the hustle of town. It was off season when we were there so it was very quiet. Restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch. Pool was awesome. Lots of stuff to do during the day in the area and then head back for a relaxing evening. Monkeys would visit most afternoons. My daughter loved the resident cats and guard dog. The animals were as friendly as the staff. Thinking about bringing more family next year."

"Staff was great and helpful. Great breakfast, food and drinks. Nice swimming pools and perfect for kids and adults alike. Nice gardens and open areas. Big rooms although somewhat outdated. The only black dot (for me at least) was that they have too many restrictions and they make sure you know about them. There are signs containing the words "no", "can't", "don't", "prohibido", etc all over the place and that can be overwhelming and give you the feeling that you are being watched all the time."

"I traveled here alone in early September. The property was beautiful! The rooms were very clean and modern, and the proximity to the beach was amazing. The property is secure - I felt very safe there. The food was incredible, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. "Unit: Extremely large, which is great for big families. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and utensils. Everything works. The laundry machines in the unit work flawlessly. The bedrooms are great. The washrooms are great. The water pressure is decent - as per another review we had issues with low pressure of warm/hot water but honestly not a big deal in a 30 degree climate. Balcony is phenomenal and views are outstanding. The elevator is quite quick with no wait times. The pool (actually two pools connected by a slide) is not large but nice and clean. It is usually empty and my daughter enjoyed it greatly. Beach: Playa Blanca is crazy good. We’ve been all over Costa Rica on several occasions and have much to compare to. This is genuinely one of the best beaches I’ve been to ever, and probably the best in the country. Note that you DO NOT have access to the beach restaurant, restrooms, lounge chairs, etc. So be prepared to bring beach towels to lie on and whatnot for your comfort. Not a big deal, but I suppose it depends on the person. We brought an infant’s camping chair for our youngest and our oldest didn’t care to sit still. There is parking (for a steep fee) but since the unit is so close, it’s best to just walk. Fair warning - the hill is STEEP. 35 degree incline, probably. Best to take it sober…Would I stay here again? Yes!"
