"I do not recommend this resort. Thay indicated free shuttle service, they surprised us with 30USD in taxi fare. Our air conditioning went out one night and the staff seemed very upset that we bothered them to fix it. I tipped for the inconvience and was laughed at. We were moved rooms because they could not fix the AC.The room we were moved into was the same as ours but had coffee, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Our room had none of these features and no hair dryer. I asked to say in the better room because we paid for these ammenities and didnt have them and they made us move back to the room without ammentites. They did not seem to care about our displeasure and laughed at me over the phone when I tried to discuss the issues with staff. I would just stay somewhere else and avoid the headache and dissappointment on vacation. "

Peace of Mind: With 24-hour around-the-clock security, we felt incredibly safe and relaxed the entire time. Mr. Tucan offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and world-class hospitality. "No transportation from airport. No pool. No restaurant. No wi-fi unless you sign up for staff phone when checking in. No staff on site after you check- in. No brochures to give you ideas of things to do or maps to find way around Roatan. Only 1/3 roll toilet paper in room- no stock or housekeeping available. Make shift haphazard and exposed rigged wiring. Rusty wire soap holder mounted in the shower, sink would not drain, multiple little packets “poison” lying in planters on veranda, film of slime in corners, rickety and winding stairs and horrible driveway at near 90 degree incline BUT awesome views of ocean. "
