Air conditioner worked , no chairs in room or decks chairs around pool small or cracked . No charcoal for barbecue ! Bathroom at pool nice new clean. Hotel refused to honour my prepaid reservation said they no longer had a relation ship with Expedia . Had to pay again and 1/3 more than I paid Expedia fraudulent in my opinion
Friendly staff. Slept well… was worried it would be noisy but it wasn’t!

I liked this little hotel. It’s about the same level of cleanliness as I found in other more expensive hotels in the same area. But it felt warm and welcoming. Good bed, has AC and refrigerator. And is located a 1/2 block from murdo beach in Zona Romantic. Good room for the price!

Disliked: Amenities
Great location close to beach and Malecon. We walked everywhere or took a bus for 20 pesos. The hotel has charm with the blue accents eveyehere but it is old and needs a lot of upkeep. The rooftop pool is great and the view is amazing, especially sunsets. Our room was right under it though and the pool pump is very noisy and vibrates through the whole room. Thankfully it was off during the night. The railing on our balcony was very rusty due to the water pouring onto it whenever they clean the pool area. Of the 2 beds, one was unusable, the coils of the spring where poking through the mattress. There was only one nightstand and no lamps in our room, just the bright overhead light. Blackout curtains and airconditioning were great. There is no drinking water provided at this hotel and no fridge in the room. It's a very basic, budget hotel.

Pros and cons
**Pros**
- The staff was exceptional!
- During our 10-day stay, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided new pots, pans, a coffee maker, and a microwave. When our stove wasn’t working, they even replaced it.
- The location was fantastic, within walking distance of everything. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the grocery store.
**Cons**
- We didn’t get the room we reserved because it was given to someone else, and it seemed we weren’t the only ones this happened to.
- The cleanliness left much to be desired. The sheets were stained, the beds were hard and dirty, and the towels were worn out and falling apart.
- The pool was murky, and as a result, the kids didn’t swim at all.
- We encountered cockroaches, with one in the shower and another outside our room.
**Would we return?**
Most likely, yes.
¡OYOMG! just keep searching for a different hotel. If the AC was working we could have closed the windows at night to block out the noise. The AC guy got it working one night and it broke again, but he was on vacation the rest of the week. The power went out one day and the pool water was fouled one day. The worst part was the smell in the bathroom that was like a pit toilet in a campground. It was so bad we had to buy spray to use the bathroom. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long tme and needs to be replaced. The staff was not surprised about all of the faults and probably heard it all already. Some mistakes in the expedia listing: checkout is 11am not 12 noon, and toiletries are not provided (just soap). There is a big supermarket 2 blocks away to get things. There are a lot of buses to get to Zona Romantica for $10M or you can walk. OYO is a big company and should attend to this property and Expedia should delist it until then. It would be fixed right away if hotels had to return money rather than just responding to reviews.
If you need a room for more than 4 people. This hotel will accommodate up to 12 people in a apartment. It's like a giant condo. Excellent for a quick stay and to enjoy the downtown daily activities.
BEWARE & READ THIS, DO NOT BOOK A ROOM!!!!! Booked through Expedia and when I arrived to check-in I was told that they no longer do business with Expedia, yet my account had already been charged for the stay. Reception desk insisted I needed to claim my refund with Expedia as they had no availability. So I did contact Expedia only to be told that my money had been charged by the hotel. No one wants to take accountability and no one has refunded my money. The stole my money!!!! And Expedia's customer service is disappointing because they aren't doing nothing about it nor returning my money. Disappointed and will no longer be booking with Expedia because they should hold up to ensuring satisfactory customer service.
We were either scammed by the business or Expedia is not properly coordinating with the hotels on their website. I would not recommend this hotel because we were turned away after setting up our stay a few weeks in advance through Expedia. We lost over $700 and have no where to stay.

This hotel does not book on Expedia. I booked my hotel room a month in advance and only got automated messages from the company assuming there were no problems.
I arrived to the hotel to find out that simply they did not have a room for me since they don’t use Expedia. I needed to book last minute accommodations within a few minutes. Do not book this place on Expedia even if it says it’s available, you’ll have to book directly. The place looked nice from what I saw at the front desk though.

The room and the property itself is quite nice, but I was woken at 2am by people talking really loudly at the check-in in the courtyard. When I went out on the balcony to ask them to lower their voices, they seemed surprised, and continued to have their conversation slightly less loudly for about 10 minutes. The reason I took the room was to be near the sea - (check yes), and to sleep well before catching a plane at 5am in the morning. So being woken halfway through that sleep was a dealbreaker…it impacted my next stay in Veracruz, as I was tired and didn’t make the most of the short time I had there.
Great potential but a confusing and disorganized check in. Desk folks could not find out reservation leaving us with 15 minutes of fright. We reserved a balcony room that we did not get. The hotel was being painted and our room had no cover plates or trim or decor. Lots of noise from hammering, demolition and sawing up to 11pm on a Sunday night even. Not new to Mexico so we had earplugs. I'm sure they gave us the worst room in the building but unsure why. We looked in other rooms when the maid had them open and they were wayyyyy nicer than ours.

No podimos quedarnos en este hotel. Ellos dicen no tener servicio con Expedia. No pudieron recivirnos. Fue muy vergonsozo.
Al llegar no nos aceptaron por sobreventa de habitaciones y nos dejaron esperando ahí sin ninguna razón, hasta que contactamos a la aplicación por la cual compramos el paquete y solo así no pudieron resolver
