Puerto de la Madera Vacations from ￥295,384

Good for the price.

Not a 5 star hotel and the room although it was very big and nice, was dirty, particularly the bathroom. The pools are old and quite small, if you want to go to the beach you need to walk 25mins. There isn’t good coffee around and nothing to do. I don’t recommend it at all.

We had an incredible stay at the Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur. The staff are incredible and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was memorable and the pool area is lovely - one is heated and the other 3 aren’t but still a great temperature for cooling off. The walk to the beach is about 15 mins, longer on the way back as it is a steep hill!! We walked to La Caleta for evening meals which is about half an hour walk along the coast. Cannot recommend this place highly enough - we will be back!!!!

Restaurant closed due to refurbishment not told when booked , had to take my mother out to eat every night which was inconvenient as she’s in a wheelchair and only booked as we thought the restaurant would be open every night Very badly stained sofa in room Entertainment at night extremely poor , just 4 young people doing what loooked like they were practicing their own uncoordinated dance routines Very badly stained sofa behaved families round main pool area with extreme bad language causing people to move Sunbed’s out of their earshot , told lifeguard but nothing was done Very poor amount of cooking utensils and crockery in rooms Had to ask for mugs etc only given 1 towel per person had to keep asking for more when they were replaced This used to be a lovely place to stay but has gone down rapidly , spoke to people that still own apartments there and they all said the same thing
