Beautiful views and spacious home!
Traveling with two families, we had a great stay at Tropical Retreat! Everything from booking to checkin and checkout was a smooth process!The house is located on the less traveled side of the island, which I prefer! Since we had a rental car, I felt like we got the best of both worlds! We could travel to Grace Bay or Smith’s reef in about 15 minutes, but had the beauty of the sound the best beaches just minutes away. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we would need. Although parts of the house are in need of small repairs, that wasn’t an issue at all for us. The kitchen and dining area are huge, and there are two lounging spaces on the first floor. We didn’t really watch any of the tvs, but they were large and smart TVs. Be aware, the only stairs in the space are a set of narrow spiral stairs up to all three bedrooms. I found this to be a fun quirk of the house, but it may not be for everyone. One of the bedrooms was very spacious, and we were able to set up an air mattress with plenty of remaining space. This bedroom also included a very large walk in closet and bathroom. Water was warm (not hot), but that is what I expected traveling to the island. The other two bedrooms were decent sized, and all had King sized beds (I believe!).The pool seemed fine, although, we didn’t spend anytime there. I really enjoyed the deck that overlooked the water and the path that led down to the water. Two mornings, we saw a flock of flamingos fly overhead!
