"I’m sorry to say this was a bitter disappointment. Please don’t be mislead by the 5 star grading. This is just about a 3 star at best. The executive room mattress must be over 20 years old the way it’s it’s dipped and given way. Had to sleep in the middle and woke up with a terrible back. Food was really terribly basic. Staff are lovely and couldn’t fault their friendliness which was the one benefit. "

"Parking easy. Selina answered the door quickly and check in just as speedy. Booked a double but was offered a king FOC which was a lovely surprise. Spacious room, bathroom very clean. Heater easy to use (turn off) and big window. Lovely views across Eastbourne, a good second best to a sea view this time of year.

"This room was absolutely amazing , so clean and modern . I usually feel on edge in hotel but I felt so comfortable and slept all night as the bed was so comfy , amazing staff and lovely atmosphere. The bath is also amazing . Would definitely recommend easily the best hotel in Eastbourne:) "
