"Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. Since it rained quite a bit during our stay, it dampened our visit. Again, we went during the off-season. Scott is very attentive and accommodating. Will go back to this place."

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even...

"Myself and a group of friends enjoyed a lovely stay in Salir do Porto. The villa is relatively small, but is well laid out and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The location is a short distance from the small village and the nearest beach, but the pool is excellent. The local manager, Adilia, is friendly and very helpful The local area is beautiful and has many attractions in close proximity. A car is recommended to get the best from the villa. Overall, highly recommended."

"Such a fun town. Kevin was great with communication prior to check in. Only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't working and that wasn't disclosed to us until checkin, hense the 3* on description. Nicola, the property mgr. was great to accommodate with fans. Location was wonderful, quiet neighborhood, close to large grocery store and an easy 10 minute walk to the boardwalk with restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again."

Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. "We loved the house , modern, tastefully decorated. Fab garden and nice and quiet as is the resort. Local beach is 10 mins away by car and stunning. More like a surfing beach as waves are huge. Definitely recommend the house. The resort has a great golf course, some tennis and oaddle courts and a club house. A great week for my family"

"We travelled from the South of Spain in the summer to go somewhere cooler that had access to Golf, and plenty of space for our two dogs. Most days were 23C or thereabouts, and the property is on the edge of some great dog walking tracks. Pool was warm and clean, and property comfortable and everything worked well during our stay."

"We had a bit of a problem when we arrived. First, the property address was not entirely correct and our Google Maps and Apple Maps took us to a place about a half mile from the property. We did not have a phone number for Joachim and when we called Homeaway, they couldn't locate him immediately. We found the property on our own by cruising the neighborhood, but had no way to get in. Joachim called us a while later to tell us he had been delayed. Once he arrived and showed us around, everything...

"We loved the house. It is a lovely property with all the equipment needed for a family with kids. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the surroundings. The owner was checking with us if we are fine and needed anything during our stay in the vila. I would highly recomend the property."

"Cute and quaint old school feel. Great if you love old books and reading in libraries. Bedding was lacking in pillows. Other than a tiny fridge, no other room amenities like coffee/tea or complimentary water. I also had to request my VIP perk of 1 bottle of wine as it was not offered it to me upon checkin. Overall, you get what you pay for staying in a book-themed auberge in a very touristy old-world town like Obidos. "
