The only standout feature of Hotel Prealpina is the amazing view. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the hotel photos are misleading—the property is much older than it appears. Guests should also be aware that it’s about a 10-minute uphill walk from the station, which can be difficult with luggage. The bathroom had mould and a damp smell, the shower leaked onto the floor, and the sink drained very slowly. The towels smelled unwashed, the fan provided was covered in dust, and the pillows were so flat and uncomfortable that I woke up with a headache. Even the lift had a musty, dusty smell. Overall, despite the beautiful view, friendly staff, and decent breakfast, the cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

30 min walk to U of Laussane, or by bus is around 20 min. Grocery store Aldi right downstairs, and Migro about 5 min walk. Housekeeping is by request, hanging the tag outside the door before noon. Staff is super friendly and helped me with a transit pass. Merci beaucoup a vous !

A nice hotel very close to the lake. Rooms were a little dated but clean and beds very comfortable. Only real downside was how close the hotel was to the main road but with lake views and the ability to swim every morning it was well worth it.

The Hotel Schweizerhof gave us an exceptional alpine experience. The staff were welcoming and gave us genuinely thoughtful recommendations. Whether suggesting hiking trails or recommending local dining options, their advice helped greatly with our stay. The room hygiene and facilities were in a spotless condition throughout the day. The accommodation provided us with a quiet, luxurious retreat after a day of exploring. From our balcony there were stunning alpine mountain views and waking up to those views of the surrounding peaks of Saas fee directly from the room balcony is simply unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff and management team for making our short time in Saas fee so memorable.

Location was fantastic and beautiful classic hotel with helpful staff. The pool/garden arrangement is odd and dated (and costs €30 a day if not included) not being able to access the promenade directly from the hotel was frustrating - a huge missed opportunity for them not to open all that up as restaurant/bar - I would flip the pool to the terrace! Anyway it was good and would go again
