「Property is set back away from the road with trees and garden, very quiet , and relaxing . Jean is a lovely lady making us very welcome, plenty of knowledge of the local area. Lovely grounds outside the hotel for walking, your doggy or dogs and lovely walks around shortpark of a few minutes to Sandown Beach and lovely shops around thoroughly. Enjoyed my stay. 「This is a great place to stay. The rooms were motel style so open the door straight outside which was perfect as we had our 5month puppy with us. Dog friendly too, could take her into the pub. On arrival, in our room was a dog bed, two dog bowls, dog towel and a doggy welcome pack - great touch. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. 「We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant.
