Willowbank Resort

"So first of all, I did not wanna leave. This property is a gem. Sure, my room was not five star which is why I gave it for… But super comfortable with great AC The best part about this place are the people. Not just at Willowbank, but in Bermuda. It was such an amazing change from the US. Willowbank has two beaches and the one on the Oceanside side is exceptional. It has four chairs and for two out of my four full days there I was all alone on the beach. That is what I wanted! I love to snorkel and did not have the bar set very high because I had never heard about Bermuda being great snorkeling… It wasn’t the most amazing snorkeling, but I was so happy to float amongst healthy coral, of many kinds, and I also saw many different kinds of fish, including a huge parrot fish family, and I know they are not the best for coral reefs, but they are certainly amusing! I wish I could’ve stayed another week because it did my soul good. Again, the people are amazing, amazing amazing amazing! If you go to the grocery store, make sure you say hello to everyone you meet. Such a great experience XO"

"An amazing resort, and the staff were so helpful and so friendly!!! The resort has beautiful views of the clear blue water. Stayed our first night in Bermuda at a well-reviewed resort in Hamilton and while it was nice, the views were only of the harbor. When the taxi dropped us off at this resort we were in shock at the incredible views! You can have breakfast or dinner with a great view, and they have a great restaurant and bar right next to the water with a great view as well. The fact that they have their own private beach is amazing. They also offer kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment for the resort guests to use. And there are great places to snorkel right there. My wife was reluctant for us to stay there because I’m not really a beach person and she was afraid I would get bored since I couldn’t just walk into town from the resort, however, there was plenty to do on the resort and plenty of restaurant options. Also, the steps down to the private beach weren’t nearly as far as I thought. It was similar to going down two flights of stairs. We will be staying here again next time!"

"An incredible Bermuda getaway! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Cambridge Beaches. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food throughout the resort was excellent, and the amenities were fabulous. One of our favorite things about Cambridge Beaches was simply being able to explore the beautiful grounds. There are so many little beaches, coves, paths, and places to discover that the resort itself feels like an experience. We especially loved spending time on the floating sun island—it was such a unique and relaxing way to enjoy the water. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent food, wonderful amenities, and genuinely friendly staff made our stay very special. My wife and I truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely return to Cambridge Beaches. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable Bermuda vacation."

"Claudette (and Amour) were excellent hosts. All logistical issues went very smoothly. We did not want a hotel-like experience since this was a family gathering and what we got was exactly what we wanted, a home away from home. Location is in Southampton near the Gibb lighthouse on the south end of the island. Know that you can’t rent a conventional auto, only scooters or little two seater vehicles. Taxi transportation can definitely get expensive since you are away from the main part of the island. That said, we got what we wanted. You can walk to the beach and there are walking paths nearby. Definitely download Hitch for Bermuda’s rideshare. There is a lovely yard with lounge chairs and a hammock. The two queen beds were very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Washer and dryer are in process of being hooked up but Claudette offered to do wash for us. Took a couple of days to figure out how to get water in shower but it was there once we were instructed how to get. Everything was super clean. If i was writing a title or headline, it would read “Our Bermuda home away from home.” Thank you, Claudette."
