Location was super convenient as you could walk to the ferry from the hotel. Staff was friendly and it's very walkable to all of the stores and restaurants in the downtown area. They even let us store our luggage there after we stayed and we're returning from Moorea. Super helpful and would definitely stay there again when we next visit Tahiti!

We had a great stay at Cook's Bay Hotel and Suites and we are so happy that we celebrated our anniversary there while in Moorea! Property is so clean and with great views of the mountains with ocean, so relaxing!
2 downsides:
- would expect they offer complimentary water bottles during the stay. We went to front desk and get re-directed to restaurant for a single water bottle. Doesnt make sense for such a great hotel not to offer such complimentary water bottles to guests....
- Through the end of our stay, they started doing renovations for first floor rooms, which caused a lot of noise during daytime. Sometimes i get mad and annoyed a lot since i wanted to enjoy my room and balcony. Doesnt make sense for them to start such construction activities during high season...

Potential for a fantastic resort. Beautiful location, and probably was at one time a top notch facility. It is dated and has evidence of wear.
For the prices charged , the qualtiy of both the service and food is generally acceptable, but just average. Maybe because I was traveling solo, as I got a vibe it was not normal to see that at their resort, but a couple other solo travelers and couples said the same thing.
It was a last minute booking, so not much esle was available, and is my first trip to Tahiti so I may be over-expecting service and food.
Nonetheless, I would stay again in a pinch but wouldnt be a first choice.
