The walkway, along some of New Zealand North Island's most breath-taking coastline, also features tracks across beautiful farmland. The track connects Stony Bay and Fletcher Bay and takes 3-4 hours. You can walk in either direction but take into account the time to get there and back. Alternatively there are organised walks available that include transport from Coromandel and pick up at the other end of the track.

"My partner and I loved this cottage. It was really well equipped and in a great location next to a quiet but audible stream which was lovely. I highly recommend staying here for a few days and exploring the area. It's also just a half hour walk into town or quick drive. We plan to stay again. "

"It was just perfect, neat and tidy and secluded in the native bush. The only improvement I feel could be made would be the inclusion of basic amenities ie tea/coffee/drinking water in the kitchen 3 Richard was very attentive and the tiny house was well kept :) "
