"The hotel is in a wonderful old mansion, in the countryside outside of Mont St. Michel. It's easy to get to. There are restaurant options a short drive away - about 10 minutes for the closest. The suite we stayed had a newly renovated bathroom and plenty of hot water. The grounds are very nice. Hopefully the grand balconies in the rear of the hotel will be open for use in the near future. You get the key for the bar/shop which you go through to access the back stairs to the rooms, taking care not to trigger the alarm behind the counter - it’s very loud!!
