「Have stayed a number of times when visiting the area. Would highly recommend it」

「Great place and host, would highly recommend」

「Really great stay, thank you!」

「Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

「From start to finish it was a delightful stay, it had a lot of charm and we loved the chickens and goats the breakfast was great with all that you needed and more, the host was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, l will recommend this place to everyone at your club and we will return in the future. Thanks Nigel & Kim」

「This is the most wonderful place to stay. It is on a working farm but very close to York. Catherine was the most amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was cooked to order and couldn’t be faulted. Her recommendation for food was spot on and any questions were answered. My husband and I can’t wait to return in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering staying here」
