「Our stay at Cochecton was undoubtedly one of the best we’ve had. It was the perfect winter wonderland getaway. When we weren’t outside watching our dog frolic through the snow, we were inside staying warm and cozy. There was no shortage of things to do. We played board games, listened to records, watched some of our favorite movies on vhs, and even took naps! Can you believe it? Naps! As in more than one nap! This space/property is the perfect natural oasis/escape from the city; it was exactly what we were looking for, gorgeous natural light, lots of windows, a huge yard, tons of nature/animals, fire pit, hiking nearby, the river access is perfect and even an active bald eagle nest! 「Place was cute. The master bedroom was nice and comfortable. Didn’t cook on this trip but house had everything you would need. The little pond had frogs which were cute and we had a deer in the yard on the last morning which was fun to see. The hot water did smell like sulfur/rotten eggs but that seems common for this area. Angel responded very quickly when I had a question. This was very helpful. 」
