The perfect location, particularly for exploring Royal William Yard and wonderful Firestone Bay (2 minute walk); a small shingle beach with seawater lido - glorious for swimming and paddle boarding. Clean, bright and comfortable with secure parking space. Lovely to have a spacious ensuite for each bedroom. Host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We'd love to return.

Joanna was an absolutely delightful host and we appreciated the basket of treats and the fresh milk. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was fine for us as we were out most of the time and it didn’t bother us at all that there was no sitting room. Fantastic location with a bay perfect for paddle boarding and swimming a minutes walk in one direction and the rather lovely Royal William Yard a minutes walk in the other direction. Recommend the bagel place.

Joana was a wonderful host. We were greeted very warmly by her and received plenty of helpful tips for possible trips in and around Plymouth. She also was continiously available via WhatsApp in case of any questions. The apartment was very clean and perfectly located, with restaurants nearby at the marina. For breakfast, there were some cereals available as well as a coffee machine and some Nespresso pods. Our car was safely parked on the property close to the appartement. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Thanks a lot …

Lovely modern clean property, handy kitchenette, good showers, gated parking, quiet location. Good access for coast path (via the Stairway to Devon) and of course Royal William Yard and Mount Edgcumbe, sea swimming for the unhinged.Friendly and helpful host.

Superb location. Superb host. We thought The Mount was really good value - and it exceeded our expectations - don't think for one minute you are getting anything cheap - you are not. The price reflects the owners kindness. Joanna, her husband and friends all extended a warm welcome - in fact - I haven't quite experienced anything like it - and communication was spot on. We have no complaints at all. The location is superb - we went everywhere, even hopping over to Cornwall on the ferry. You do not have to move your car once you park it if you don't want to - everything you could want for a coastal get a way right on your door step. We were sad to leave. Whoever goes next - I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We loved our 3 night stay here. The location was perfect, with the royal William yard a stones throw away & views of the marina. The accomodation had everything we needed for a short stay & our host couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at The Mount. We arrived late after a long drive down from Scotland but Joanna was there to greet us and was a very friendly, welcoming host. We were made to feel right at home straight away. The property and location was perfect for us as a family of 3, with secure parking and easy access to Royal William yard. We look forward to visiting again.

Joanna was incredibly helpful before and throughout our stay, suggesting places to visit and how best to get there. She made sure she was there to meet us when we arrived, and even left a birthday card and gift for me which was so thoughtful. I would highly recommend staying here, the location is spot on and the accommodation is lovely.

A beautiful home with all the creature comforts, very close to the beach front and harbour. Amazing views all round with exquisite cuisine located on the doorstep, super friendly area with easy access to the local town centre by car or by a short boat ride. The owner was amazing and very welcoming to our family, we had the best time in a long time away from home, their home felt like our home for the entire stay!
