"The resort is in an ideal position right next to a lovely bay with a great sandy beach over the small headland. The port area is great to wander around. So location wise its great. It is a pv holidays place though so your holiday has been designed by accountant trying to save 50 cents here and a euro there but if you are prepared to put up with the corporate penny pinching then its great. "Lacronan is of course a treasure, and, perhaps not unsurpisingly, is determined to keep cars out, even though there is a small hotel car park available for a few fortunate guests. Our route to the hotel, which is perhaps 200 metres from the central square, was barred by ongoing work to pedestrianise the area immediately adjacent to the hotel. Whilst the hotel staff were very helpful face to face, a note on the booking confirmation or website explaining the current access challenges would have...

Restaurant advertised as closed on a Monday so we booked elsewhere, but on our return we were surprised to see that the restaurant was actually open. This was not made clear, and was disappointing as we would have dined in the restaurant both nights of our stay had we known that it would be open. "
