"We loved the location in Avellanas as we could walk to the beach, little coffee shop, and other little restaurants. It’s also a good base to explore nearby beach towns and a short drive into Tamarindo town. This place was perfect for the 5 of us: 4 adults and a child. The pool is nice and a great place to have your morning cup of tea and read a book. Dennis was incredibly helpful and kind. Would definitely book again!"

"We had a truly magical vacation at Villa Solana. The house is gorgeous and the outside is even better than pictured, with so many options to keep kids entertained. The property management was very responsive and helpful with any and every question we had before and throughout our trip. Our housekeeper Gabriella was also wonderful and had the house looking beautiful every day. We will most definitely be back."

"Best location in a beautiful clean safe gaurd gated community. Collin was the best in answering all our questions and Karla our daily housekeeper was fantastic! The house was always clean and had great air conditioning. The furniture was excellent especially the beds and linens! The pool was refreshing but did stay in the shade this time of year but the hot tub did get some sun on one side. Everyone just sat in the sun right next to the pool on the beautiful lounge chairs.them jumped into the shaded pool. The last day we heard howler monkeys in our yard thought it was in the yard we walked 2 mins to see them which was a highlight. I’d definitely vacation in this house again. The ocean in front of the beach club was perfect. Perfect for surfing and swimming with soft sand just being flip flops for the dry sand when you first get to the beach be size it’s hot. There was. Few issues in some bathrooms but common had someone out in now gone to fix the water temp. 10/10 excellent stay ! We ate at the JW Marriott ne t door a few times which was excellent. And Lola’s is great as well as breakfast at Soul Shine and the tea shop / natural food store 6 mins away. "

"We were 10, including our sons, daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. We cooked several nights and the kitchen is very well equipped. We ate outside and enjoyed the outdoor setting. We appreciated the housekeeper Herman’s, who was lovely. A terrific week!"

"The house is just as pictured and better. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, location from the Playa Bonita as well as access to the Beach club made our stay unforgettable. Everyone we encountered during check-in, the gate attendants, our housekeeper, pickleball managers, were extremely friendly and helpful. We hope to come back next year!!"

"We loved the house, location, and amenities. We had plenty of space for 3 families totaling 14 people. The concierge was helpful and very communicative as well. Beach club was great too!"

"The resort is gorgeous. The rooms are clean , beds are very comfortable. Definitely Great to have the pool right outside the door. Odd set up for the 2 bdr villas.. when you enter through the gate you have a common outside small table and 4 chairs and on each side of that is a sliding door..to the right ...a kitchen with 2 single beds and TV, no bathroom. So whoever is in that room has to come through the queen bedroom with people sleeping to use bathroom . On the left queen bedroom and bathroom, no tv. So when those people go to bed no tv to watch. Also, the shower is outside which was cool, but the door to the bathroom is locked and if you wanted to leave it open ..there was just enough gap for lizards and bugs to come in . And no hooks to hang your towel and clothes. The units definitely need more hooks to hang towels up or a retractable clothes line. We had all our stuff drapped all over the chairs in the common outdoor space. Which was hard to sit at as they were all covered in wet stuff. Also needs more hanging hooks for clothes in other room with the kitchen ....and more cutlery options like a good cutting knife , bottle opener, wine opener ..etc. Basic utensils only, no dish soap to wash dishes"
