"I reserved my room weeks in advance for my daughter's college graduation at NC State and when I arrived, I was told they had overbooked and I did not get my double queen that I requested. I was told that I would receive a fold away bed, but I never received it. I was given credit to use at the beverage center near the desk. I, also, had an issue with the toilet that was never addressed. I just think that for the amount of money my family spent for one evening, things could have been a little more accommodating."

"Upon check-in, the room had a strong odor of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Additionally, there was peeling paint on the walls, multiple stains throughout the carpet, and an overall damp feel to the room, which made the space appear poorly maintained. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again"

"The breakfast "buffet" was a joke since they were charging $40 a couple for a Super 8 Motel free breakfast!! Then to top it off because we were shocked when we saw the sign. We asked the two older employees was it really $20 a person. The old white guy said yes for the buffet and older black woman sarcastically said... that's what it says on the sign. 😡 We just went back to our room. We will never return "

Its location is truly prime—steps away from the Red Hat Amphitheater and the Convention Center, making it incredibly easy to explore the best of the city on foot. "Rooms are nice and spacious, beds are comfortable, shower is hot, complimentary breakfast is good. Shopping and eating within walking distance. We normally stay here, will be returning. "
