My favorite thing About this hotel was the whole kitchenette. There is an a real.refrigerator freezer, stove, cooking utensils etc. It's a great option for when you don't want to buy every meal out. My second favorite is the air conditioning! You have complete.control.over the temperature. Recently we stayed in another hotel that regulated the temp.and I was so hot the entire time. The room was clean and comfy as well.

We stayed here while getting our daughter moved into Pitt. The hotel shows signs of wear and tear, sofas are old. It is a great area in Shadyside, close to campus but not too close. The park in front is a good option if staying with pets. It is bit too expensive for the condition of the property but it is close to Pitt and CMU.

The check in and check out were fast and smooth. The room was clean and spacious. The location was also very convenient for us with good food and shopping options close by. The only downside was that we could hear some noises from the next room as there was a connecting door. However, this did not bother us.

Very clean and it appears there are activities in the evening but we were off with local family members. My husband loved the breakfast and I loved the coffee (I’m not a breakfast person). We had a little kitchen nook which we did not use but would have loved it at other places we’ve stayed (again local family in vicinity). I also loved that we did not want or require e.g., tiny shampoos and daily cleaning when we only slept and showered.I am going to reiterate, it was very clean.

Very conveniently located for our needs. Safe, relatively quiet for a city area. Very comfortable rooms and common area in lobby. Staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The outdoor seating area is also very inviting. This is our “go to” when we are in the area. Minor wear in the shower shelf. That is the worst of it. Which is nothing, imo. Thanks for the great stay!
