Resort style, family friendly getaway!

"The Lodge is a lovely property set on a hill in a residential condo community. There is a tennis court, and a pool. The pool had an algal bloom, while we were there, of which we were not advised, Otherwise, the communication with the owner was prompt and accurate. There were lots of toys, puzzles, games, and books. The wrap around porch was wonderful. Everyone had their own private bed/bath suite, which was fabulous. The kitchen is large with 2 dishwashers, and an extra large refrigerator. Lots of dishes, and silverware. Some of the kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced, but we were still able to cook many meals. There were many leftover condiments and other items from past guests. It would have been nice if they were labeled for freshness purposes; still appreciated.The trails at the property were not maintained, so we did most of our hiking at Camden Hills State Park. There is a lovely lake nearby for swimming or boating( canoes, kayaks).Took the ferry to Isleboro, and visited many small towns in area; Belfast, Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Fernalds Nature Preserve in worth a trip. It was great to be in a rural part of Maine. Lots to see and do, it just hang out.There were plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. Could have used extra towels, and toilet paper in the otherwise nicely appointed bedrooms. Room refrigerators were a nice touch. I made several suggestions to the owner to make this place a five star property. I recommend this property for large groups."

"This place was great for the whole family! Lots of sleeping options, we specifically liked that there were multiple spaces to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the water views and the fire options. Things to note that if you have anyone with accessibility challenges the way to the water is a set of stairs and a hill (there is an alternative route not directly at the house with easy slope).The pond is shallow, muddy at the bottom and it’s difficult to avoid the water grass - did not stop us at all and we had lots of water fun but if that’s not your thing your should know."

"We had a perfect visit at Ina's VRBO rental. The home is lovely and comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and enjoy. I especially liked the surrounding grounds with plenty of trees, vegetation and visiting birds. I enjoyed the privacy and seclusion. It was close to nearby towns, activities, shops and restaurants.The kitchen is well stocked with basic kitchen necessities and extensive cooking equipment. Ina provided a cheerful "welcome basket" with all sorts of goodies.There is a lovely lake at the end of the road that is peaceful with a scenic view.There was a power outage due to a storm and the generator kicked in immediately so we did not lose electricity. Having the generator was an added plus!We would definitely return the next time we're up in the area.Thank you Ina!"

"It was apparent that the property welcomes pets, but we didn’t have any. Communication was quick with the host.This is a small house, but well stocked and included thoughtful items.The property is close to grocery and 13 minutes to Lincolnville, and 21 minutes to Belfast. "

"This property is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked. The neighborhood is beautiful and the neighbors are very friendly. There is a nice pool (It was closed due to the time of year), and a very nice fire pit. There's lots of room outside for corn hole and outdoor activities. There are also two lovely decks overlooking the woods with plenty of comfortable seating and a gas grill. We had only a couple hiccups, but they were handled by the property manager in a timely manner. Overall, our group had a great time and would definitely recommend the property for your get away."
