"This place is great! Stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and our boxer dog while in town for the MDI marathon. It’s clean, well run, convenient access to the park, and even has a lobster pound right next door. We are in MDI frequently, and will definitely be staying here again!"

"We had a good stay at this property. House was generally clean but in need of updates and TLC. New mattresses would be good. Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. We also enjoyed using the fire pit one evening. Property is a decent location to Acadia and Bar Harbor if you don’t mind driving off the main road a bit. With a party of 3 couples wanting 3 bedrooms (with queen or king beds) and 3 bathrooms, this property is unique. However, one bathroom is downstairs and the only bedroom/room downstairs has 2 twins. Some of these details weren’t readily available in the description. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and roasting hotdogs outside and there was enough firewood available for one use. Maine in October is a great time to visit!"
