"We stayed at Robbins Motel in Bar Harbor for one night but then extended it to two nights. The location is great; close to downtown Bar Harbor and next door to a great Lobster Shack. The property is definitely dated but there is renovation work going on and I'm sure this will improve quite a bit. Just enough parking for one car per room basically. I couldn't ask for a more professional, helpful. accommodating and courteous front desk staff. She was absolutely wonderful to interact with. The room, like the property was also dated, but the rooms are in the process of being renovated. The room was small but clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Linens were clean. Bathroom had plenty of hot water. Complimentary toiletries provided. TV was functional with decent selection of channels. Good WiFi. Decent amount of outlets. Room was quiet. AC worked well. No fridge or microwave in room. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Bar Harbor. I am looking forward to the renovations."

"Worth every penny! This place is great! You won’t believe the view (we got cabin 26). Super we’ll equipped - we even bought lobsters to cook at home and they had EVERYTHING! We had a tiny little issue with the bathroom and the owners response was immediate, attending to the matter in minutes :) Will hopefully come back soon!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful and clean. We loved the little blueberry chocolates that the host gave us. I highly recommend this property. Beds were super comfortable! I only gave 4 stars because the air conditioning didn’t really work. The first night, it kept turning off which we figured out thanks to the host, but even after that it still wasn’t enough to keep the house cool since it wasn’t central air."

"This is a great location between 2 restaurants. It's far enough away from the busy downtown area, but close enough to everything in Acadia that you want to see. It is an older motel, and some of the furnishings ae worn, but it was very clean. We satr nd sooutside in the front lawn on some chairs a few times. The pool area is nice, but we never got to use it because it was chilly outside."

"Our family (7 adults and 2 toddlers) spent a week at this beautiful property to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday and it was such a great fit for us. The property itself was beautiful and our toddlers loved the large back deck, play structure, and big yard for playing. The view of the bay never got old! Eric and Gina were very communicative leading up to and during our stay; we didn’t have any issues but I knew if we did run into anything it wouldn’t be hard to get a hold of them! The proximity to all that the Acadia area has to offer was great. At least part of our group was in the park just about every day and we visited Bar Harbor multiple times as well. I think we would have needed many more weeks to exhaust the activities in the area or tire of our time here. If you don’t like 30-40 min drives you may want to look for lodging closer to the main attractions in the area but we found the scenic drives really lovely!For parents of young kids: this was a really welcoming place to be. My daughter (2.5 years) thought the long hallway for running/skipping/jumping was the best part second only to the slide in the backyard. We did bring portable blackout curtains that helped us sleep later than the early sunrise. The house is equipped with door alarms so you can be confident your little ones won’t wander outside unnoticed, but also there’s plenty of yard to play in before the beach so I didn’t worry about our kids’ safety at all while we were t"

"Property was exactly as depicted, very clean and quaint. The boys loved having a separate entrance to the basement. Sitting on the deck after a day of hiking and shopping was the perfect end while watching the sun drop. We studied the map with all the previous renters’ notes downstairs ( great recommendations!) overall, would absolutely stay again! Close enough to the Bar Harbor scene with some solitude!"
