"The apartment was nice. The building was nice, and the staff was very nice. The free laundry was wonderful. My only complaint is that I was turned away with a small group of 3 friends that were going to rest during the carnival for an hour or so. I was told that I was not allowed to have ANY guests in the apartment. This policy was not explicitly stated in the listing and it came as kind of a surprise and a disappointment. "

"We arrived at the entrance of the property after traveling for more than 20 hours, and the experience of getting into the apartment was not what I expected. We were greeted by the security guard, who only spoke Portuguese and did not accept the booking confirmation we showed him. This left us standing outside with our luggage.
