"We had a great extended family trip at SML! The house was large and spacious with tons of bedrooms and bathrooms. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool is great and so is the firepit. The outdoor porches are great for coffee, dinner and outdoors movie nights. Overall would recommend and would come back!One note for future guests: the lake is currently at extremely low levels and makes the dock not usable for boats. After speaking with the host, we were able to figure out how to tie our rented boat up to a tree below the dock, and it worked ok, but required someone to push us out of the very low water every time and some careful maneuvering by the driver. Certainly wouldn’t blame the host for the lake levels but a heads up would have been appreciated so we knew what to expect. The host was very responsive with tips on managing the situation."

"The lazy Creek cozy couples cabin was immaculate. They provide everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. From seeing the stars from the hot tub at night and even enjoying the front porch rockers while the rain and lightning lit up the mountain sky, it was just what we needed to unwind. If you are looking to escape for a while this is the perfect place!"

"Checked into a fantastic room with an elevated ceiling and skylights that had blackout shades operated from a switch on the wall. High end finishes, very comfortable bed and linens. Location was walkable to everything we had planned and needed. Unloading zone by front door was great and found free weekend street parking steps from the entrance. Would definitely stay again."

"Just got back from a fabulous week at Smith Mountain Lake. Hideaway Ridge was everything we could have wanted and more. 7 adults and one child had plenty of space to spread out. 3 of our group couldn't make it, but if they had been able to come, there were more than enough rooms for them.Convenient to Food Lion, restaurants, and the marina.Mark took good care of the pool and is such a nice guy. Thanks for everything. We can't wait to come back next summer."
